Overview

Optimist International School is a public international school in Hoofddorp providing excellent international primary education in English and Dutch with small classes. The school uses an inquiry-based approach with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and offers a Dutch Enrichment Programme (DEP) for upper primary. From August 2026, it will expand to offer international secondary education under the name Optimist International Academy (OIA) for ages 4-18.
